With You
I'm being torn by you
Faith has fallen through
No reason to believe
The lies you tell me
When they just drown
Me all the more
In the unseen tears
Cried for you
Compassion is the light
In someone's life
Or the very darkness
Because of it
And the light's burned out
Because it drowned in sadness
Sometimes I wonder why I stay
I'll never end up with you anyway
Never going to be anything to you
I'll never matter no matter what I do
I'm torn in two because of you
I'm broken
From my decision
To stay or leave
I'll drown in tears
Either way
Because of me

my life mirrors these very words to this day. u must have been in my mind...or maybe it is that there are many more of us in the same boat....regardless....it still hurts. |

Essentially9, you always take the time in reading my work, so I am giong to give back the kindness now. This work was utterly beautiful! Saddening, reminiscent of a love once had... I know this feeling very well. Truly magnificent in every way possible! The flow was wonderful, and the ride all in all, was refreshing.
