My heart is sinking
What were we thinking
I can't believe its true
I never thought it through
Between the passion and the lust
Underneath your warm touch
My body felt great
But now my heart aches
I belong to another
Your best friend, my lover
I feel so stupid
Thinking of what you and I did
This could destroy my life
I wanted to be his wife
Now I must decide
Do I confess or do I hide
I don't want to lose him over you
I know you understand that too
A friend you'll always be
But nothing more you see
Cause I love him too much
To just give him up
Now I'm nervous and shaking
I don't know what we were thinking

| change is something that people fear, for reason unknown, before you pass up someone new maybe you should think...do u really love him, or are you just use to him? change is difficult, but time is a healer. good write |
