The air blows my hair over my face.
My foot pulls my skirt down another inch
And I fall face first on to the blue matt.
I want a blue mat under me always.
So when I fall I wont get hurt,
I'll just bounce around.
The grass is wet and it clings to my boots.
and my skirt is soaked at the bottom.
My throat hurts and my voice is horse.
I was yelling so loud at a passer by.
I want a blue mat under me always.
So when I fall I wont get hurt,
I'll just bounce around.
My breath is short, little gasps,
As I bounce up and down.
I hit my friends and we land in a heap,
Breathing deep and laughing loud.
I want a blue mat under me always.
So when I fall I wont get hurt,
I'll just bounce around.
I know life isn't always like this.
Tears will fall and pain will come
But I have to have the bad
if I want to have, the days were I jump endlessly on a mat.
I want a blue mat under me always.
So when I fall I wont get hurt,
I'll just bounce around.
Though I want the blue under me
I know life wouldn't be as fun.
If there's always a mat under me
Then it won’t be as exiting when I land.
