Crystalline Waters

Topic: LovePoetry

The warmth of your body
Flush against mine
The coolness
Of the crystalline ocean
Washing over our legs
Your face against mine
I feel your cheeks rise
As you smile
At the beauty of this sunset
We share together
My arms around your waste tighten
You turn and embrace me
For hours we stood
Comforted by the closeness of eachother
Light turned to dark
And stars awoke and shone
With the beauty of your smile
You seperated from me
Yet not breaking the embrace
You whispered three words
I love you
It took me a while to find my voice
Marveling at how you could love me
Your eyes melted into mine
As you awaited my reply
I love you, too
I reached up
And cradled your head in my hands
I pushed my lips to yours
You pushed back
Deepening the kiss
We broke apart
Breathing heavily
You turned back around
And leaned into me
My hands found their former resting place
Around your waist
We watched the moon
Who gazed back at us
Whispering its blessings
In a passing breeze
You started to fall asleep
So I spread a blanket
On the sand
We layed down and you cuddled into me
Your head laying in the crook of my arm
I kissed your cheek
And closed my eyes and fell asleep

What a pure and emotional picture you have painted. Great poem!
