I don't know who I am any more
I wanted to be what and who ever
you wanted me to be.
I became that.
To the detrement of me.
I am now lost in a maze
and where are you?
gone of course...
Isn't that funny?
We're both gone.
You gave up nothing.
I gave up everything.
My emotional side:
gone.
My writing:
cut in half.
cursing like a sailor
NOW I DO.
2nd hand smoke
In MY lungs now.
well, I guess I gained
some things too.
the cursing and
2nd hand smoke are new.

I can completely relate to this. The sacrificing of one's self completely for another only to be left empty. My Perfect Vision is about the same thing. Bravo! You have said it well.
