Most Wild of Dream

Contributed by the_story_of_the_year on Sunday, 26th September 2004 @ 02:58:11 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I want to die for you
I want nothing more
Than to take one to the chest for you
And see you looking down at me
As I look up at you
As I struggle to breathe
And you finally realize my love for you
That's how much you mean to me

Here I go again
Getting ahead of myself
Before it even begins
Making promises that
I only hope I'll keep
Holding myself to things
You could only find in my most wild of dreams

Like my fist to the wall
My heart breaks for you

What's it about love
That you find so frightning
Holding on to others
Like the sky holds on to lightning

The light up ahead
Is now in your rear-view mirror
That hope that you had
Is becoming less clearer

You're a poet
And you don't even know it

I'd pull up the sun
If you ever felt cold
I'd do so much for you
But you'll never know

Says:

Wonderful write!

You've got my favorite lines in here, too:
"You're a poet,
And didn't even know it."

"Winter time winds blue and freezin'
Comin' from northern storms in the sea
Love has been lost, is that the reason?
Trying desperately to be free"
-The Doors "Wintertime Love"

Well done!
