As I walk down the beach
On a cold brisk morning.
I see the young lovers
Walking and holding hands.
All that comes to my mind
I wishing you were here?
Holding my hand
As we walk along together side-by-side.
As the sun comes up
And my walk alone starts to end.
I turn around and look
There I see two sets of footprints in the sand.
I stop and think is this just a dream
Or am I just seeing things.
Then I realize you are not really there
It’s just my heart wanting you to be here.
