This weight bears down
crushing my soul
The memories invade
and I'm losing control
You could kiss them away
if only they hurt on the surface
but the pain in my heart
is merely oblivious
Pictures form in my mind
mishaped clouds of betrayal
Every second is a struggle to find
some escape but I only fail
We carry on in these days
trying to hold onto what is real
hoping the scars will fade
when all I want is to feel
I cry for the days of yesterday
when my heart was whole and secure
I didn't know pain nor the heartache betrayal brings
and I didn't face love with fear
I'm trying to forget
but this time I'll admit
that it gets harder to forgive
when the one persone who should
make you long to live
makes you die inside every time
you look into their eyes
and see a past full of lies

man, this one's so well written, that it's unbelievable!!!
i love the phrases you've used most of all, but the way it's written plays a huge part in why it's so briliant!
it's hard to admit things like this and it makes you a strong person just to be able to do that!
maybe on day you'll be able to do so, but until then, keep up with your writing, becuse you talent is really good.
