A Sleepless Night

Contributed by Bruce on Saturday, 25th September 2004 @ 12:54:53 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I sat there by the computer
thinking of what to write
Having spent many restless hours
in a totally Sleepless Night

She was on my mind constantly
in every thought I had
This wonderful, beautiful lady
I was never feeling sad

How do I get her the message
what are the words I say
How do I show her I love her
in every possible way

To many Sleepless Nights
it is always on my mind
Loving someone like this
the proper way I must find

I know she knows how I feel
it is quite evident in what she sees
It would surely not be possible
to hide any feelings like these

Some day soon, maybe
the opportunity will come about
Putting and end to Sleepless Nights
of this there would be no doubt
