the damned sweet silence
draws her near
and speaks
in clear beauty
captivating any fighting
left in her
now the dark will show
her what it is like
in dreams
again
the pain
again
the screams
again
the sharp uncaring chant of forever
and unknown
will she never learn?
the sweet softness
of the charming voices
are not trust
though they caress in their breathe
everything they say
a lie
a lie

Good work.
I don't consider it childish. Anyone can have nite mares and be afraid of sleep.
