Chained Feelings of Misery

Contributed by pyrofungus on Friday, 24th September 2004 @ 10:06:44 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I can’t bare to hold these feelings inside
To know what is actually going on…
I’ve hidden them behind this door
I locked it and thought they would stay in
They fought so hard to get out
To find the key
But I wanted them so badly to just stay chained to the walls
Left to misery
Leaving me with nothing but happiness
It worked so well
For such a short time
Until they broke free of the chains
And unlocked the door with the knowledge they had of my me…
They slowly crept out from behind that door
Walking around…
Spreading my feelings
Hurting me
Leaving me with nothing but pain
Again they seemed to want to destroy me
But I will not let them this time…
I’ve learned so much in this small amount of time of freedom that owned me
Things can be fixed
And they can be changed
You just have to work at them
And want it to take place more than ever before…

A very meaningful write; and hope springs eternal when we don't give up. Expressing our feelings frees us up to go on with the present; and not be mired down with unfinished business of the past.

Good write with wisdom, Willofree
