Bridge Of Broken Steps

Below is a river of liquid ice,
Freezing & cold to the bone
Above is a betraying bridge, a bridge of broken steps
If you shall step upon a broken one, you will fall
Luck may get you across, but luck is foolishly faulty
Only those who are fortunate get across
But waiting, so humbly on the other side
Is Azriel, the heart piercer
Her wicked, taunting smirk shows her razor teeth
Long, decaying yellow claws project from her fingers
Her claws jab into your chest, ripping out your soul organ
She laughs, like ten million lost spirits, as you beg not to be damned
Those who are cruel to humans & animals
Will be sent to walk the bridge,
Many will step, & take the breaking plunge
Letting them descend into a river of frosty water
There, they will freeze to death,
Chiseled from blocks of ice,
They will be thrown to rabid dogs,
Being eaten & torn apart
Well, now who has the last laugh now?
