Can You Sleep When the Wind Blows?

Can you sleep, when the wind blows,
Or are you anxiously pacing to and fro?
Day after day and night after night,
Do you feel calm or stay uptight?
You know they’re coming, storms always do,
Yet do you trust in God to pull you through?
It doesn’t matter what comes your way,
As long as you remember to kneel and pray.
It’s up to you how you spend your life,
How you deal with heartaches, pain, and strife.
There’s no problem too small in God’s eyes,
No trial too big, for He’s bigger than life.
So how are you dealing with the storms you face,
Are you trusting in God to give you grace?
Take a look inside and examine your heart,
Do you believe in God to fulfill His part?
This question I ask, and only you and God knows,
Can you sleep, when the wind blows?

I really liked this poem. I wanted to ask if you cared if I sent it to my friend? She's having a hard time with her life right now and I thought this might help her. Although I pray to a God and Goddess. This is really a great write.
