Why do you torment yourself?
Why do you mislead yourself with your lies?
How can you not see the truth?
Why do you always ask yourself why?
Let me help you, to give you some aid.
Come, come into the shelter I have made.
Let me tend to your buises, your sores.
I just want to help pass through those doors
Of life called sickness, betrayal, depression.
I only want to help you, to love you,
To care for you. You see, I am on a mission.
To help those in need, to those hungry, to feed.
To clothe the naked, and to soothe the forsaken.
I know how you feel, and how with it to deal.
You feel like life is not worth living,
You feel like your life has been endless diving
Into the realms of hell, but you are afraid to get well.
You want to live, yet also to die.
You want to believe the truth, not a lie.
You feel cast out, like a dirty rag.
You smell the noxiousness of your sin, it makes you gag.
You feel like there is no help left for your soul.
No possible way to make it whole.
You just want it the pain to end.
You believe there is no way for your wounds to mend.
I know this because I have been there.
I was the outcast of the outcast
I was the worst, the last.
But I came through it, though with bitter wounds.
At least I, unlike many others, escaped the hell hounds.
That is why I am trying to help you,
So that your life will not be through.
I shall not stop until I have done my best.
I will give you tea to help you rest.
I will not leave your side,
I will near you abide.
So step inside, my door is open wide.
To help you, to help you.
