When you put your head
Next to mine
I say it's all right
When I start to stare
At your soft brown hair
You say it's all right
Say it's all right
Say it's all right
Say it's all right
We say it's all right
You've got hearts on your eyes
We have smiles to memorize
Wish that you could stay
Hold you tight
All through the night
Sure wish that you could stay
C'mon now say it's all right
Say it's all right
Say it's all right
We say it's all right
When you say good-bye
The sadness comes
You say it's all right
Walkin' streets in town
Feeling so down
I hear you say it's all right
Say it's all right
Please say it's all right
FOOTNOTE: The Domestic relation laws in the U.S. trash most fathers in divorce and force children to see "MR. FUN' every other week-end. This amounts to 4 days a month! My daughter has grown into an emotionally upset adult which goes directly back to the day she had to move from her daddy. She was and is Daddy's girl. Her Mother re-married and THEN let her live with me as the new husband did not like her. She was 14 when this happened and was devistated destroyed. BUT the domestic relation laws are written so as to favor the child being raised by the mother and the father is reduced to a sperm doner who plays the entertainment guy 4 days a month! THIS IS ABSURD! The laws were written in the 1950's and have not been changed EXCEPT to go after fathers who do not pay child support. When she lived with her mother I sent $600.00 a month to child support if I missed a payment I was threatened with jail. When she moved in with me her mother paid $140.00 a month claiming poverty and hiding behind her husbands 70,000.00 a year salery WHICH IS NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION!!! as he has no legal position with the child. BUT he can get the child thrown out, and can punish and scold, when there is a mother who cares more about a bar pick-up she married then her own blood. DOMESTIC relation laws don't care about that, and now there is one more hurt adult in this world...IF YOU ARE A FATHER IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS>>>>SING THIS SONG ANY TUNE WILL DO!

i am not a father, not even a man but a woman, and i think what happened is unfair. The laws are there to protect the child, but sometimes they are wrong and a good father is denied the time that he needs with his child when the child can cherish the time just as much. Both end up being punished because of the way life used to be. |
