Fantasy

Topic: SadPoetry

it's a fantasy
you and me
like waves that don't crash
like a sun that doesn't set
like a walk on the beach-
with no foot prints
it's just a fantasy
like time standing still
like a closk that doesn't tick
like a shadow on the wall-
when there's no person at all
it's just a fantasy

This a great write in the fact that at one time or another we all have a fantasy about a person whom we never really have.

Hey there is no Joey in the Backstreet Boys. The Backstreet Boys are Brian, Nick, Kevin, Howie, and AJ. I think that you meant *NSYNC. Sorry to correct you but the Backstreet Boys are my favorite band.

Hmmm Candice,
Fantasies are the sign of a good, healthy mind. But they can also bring dissapointment when one has to realise that they just aren't real!
This reads kinda sad to me, and I like it as it is well written and produced an emotional response in me, which is the point of good poetry after all!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, that is so true good poetry should bring out emotional responses. I wrote is poem the last time I talk my self out of going for it with Shadow, the guy I love.
