You’re just not around
And everything’s still a mess,
But weirdly I feel comforted
Like we’ll make it through this.
My emotions are everywhere
Although nothing’s in my head,
This goofy smile on my face
Cold shivers down my spine.
Who knew things were so complex
When the answer is so simple,
I guess you just must hit bottom
Before all of this makes sense.
How can I explain to anyone
What exactly went down,
Maybe I should just sit back
Watching everything instead.
All I really wanted to say
In the midst of these lines,
Everything’s still a mess
But weirdly I feel comforted.
