Falling In Love

Contributed by Willofree on Tuesday, 21st September 2004 @ 06:41:29 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Stolen side glances
Peeks from the corner of my eye
awkward with no direct advances
Shy and bashful was I

Not exactly the direct approach
Stomach would fill with butterflies
Often time I felt I needed a coach
On my own volition I could not rely

Watch you walk down the hall
Like a kid playing hide-and-go-seek
No conversation at all
Advances were really weak

Swivel of your hips I do recall
You turned and caught me in my stare
You smiled and continued down the hall
I blushed, but the smile was nice to share

Heart was racing with sweaty palm
Such an affect you had on me
Take me a few minutes to calm
I was very inept you see

Work was my excuse to converse
I would avoid running ito you
Would sit in my office and rehearse
Fantasizing about us as two

You initiated conversation with me
I felt this swirling hoard of emotions
It felt like the raging sea
Excited with this emotional commotion

Story has a happy ending
together as man and wife today
Had it been left to my attending
Would have gotten lost along the way

Thanks for hanging in there hon
One of us needed to take the lead
We become merged as two into one
It's working, as I took heed

Awe, how cute. I really enjoyed this. Sweet, innocent love. True love! That makes me smile. I love the child-like touch to this. Good work!
