Call Me Crazy
September 21, 2004
Thinking I am different,
That is how my life went,
Watching others live,
Wondering what I'd have to give.
Under the glass,
Eyes always watching me
I caved into the corners,
Refusing all your orders.
Falling through the web of black
Past only sounds, for sight I lack
In every moments past.
In staring at my own hands longer
I can hear the rushing of my blood
Pumping stronger
And the harder I look, the more I concentrate
The louder the roar, the more irate.
And a sudden stop leaves me swaying
In silence with no blood
And shrinking veins
I cannot see, but I feel them constricting
Tighter and collapsing in a tunnel emptied
Dry and burning just under my skin.
When the eyes stop watching, and I stop falling
And my blood is no longer a river,
And the commands are ceased,
My veins no longer give, and it seems I am released
My vision gets hazy
And they call me crazy
