Brilliant colors make up this spring day,
Soft greens, light browns, sharp yellows.
It all makes me glad that I did stay
Here, on earth, and start to mellow.
Sitting here, with my love,
Watching the
Dandelion seeds blow above.
The flowers billowing forth from their buds,
The calls of birds flowing from the woods.
All presents an image of grandeur,
Of unimaginable beauty and splendour.
The Creation singing silently to their Maker.
I gently cradle her sleeping body in my arms
So as not to wake her.
The world, so beautiful, is peaceful,
Nothing but love, and the wind
And the grass, and the trees
Simply stunning, yet a poor facsimile
To Heaven where we will one day be.
