She told me she was looking for more
I've played that tired drama before
Feeling restless, down again
Searching for comfort
Looking for a friend
I went into the coffee house
Left my guitar home
I 've got lyrics in my head
Need something to strum
Need something to strum
I believe in Angels
Met one but she flew
I believe in Angels
Angels just like you
History repeats itself
Love is how we measure wealth
Cliches we hear time and again
When they combine it spells the end
I'm sitting in this coffee house
But I left my guitar home
Now there's music in my head
I need something to stum
Need something to stum
I believe in Angels
Met one but she flew
I believe in Angels
Angels just like you
It's so hard to sit and think
Your just another memory
I always thought together
That our troubles would be freed
Now it's so plain to see
That wasn't a thought in your mind
As you fade into the mist
You crossed that memory line
I believed in Angels
Met one but she flew
I believed in Angels
Believed in Angels like you
