Star light
star bright

Please let me have him at least just for one night
He was mine once before
But then he left me here

I need him now , star
I would travel very far just to have him in my arms

I would swim all the seas
Just to him be with me

I will go to church everyday
Then I will pray for him

For the Lord to bring him to me

Star you are my only hope
Bring my love back to me please

Now I am on my knees begging you to bring him please!

I wish this once you would work for me
Then I would never wish again.

That's a pretty sad place to be and I don't think there are many who wouldn't be able to personally relate and understand. Being lonely for someone you've lost can be the toughest thing you'll ever go through.

I like your poem... it reminds me of young love. That's often the biggest difference between young love and not so young love. The not so young often protect themself from the feeling you express so sweetly by choosing to be angry and resentful instead.

This seems very sincere and heartfelt... it comes across as real. Hope things work out.
