I’m sorry to you for being me,
I trap you so you can’t feel free,
The good person in me is there,
Crying out, telling you she cares.
But her tiny voice is drowned out,
By the anger & hurt in my shouts,
Please don’t hate me for being ill,
Or for seeking solace in too may pills.
My deepest apologies for being such a mess,
Please understand I do try my best,
I love you with all my heart,
All this pain is ripping me apart.
Can you forgive me for being unstable?
Here’s all my cards lay out on the table,
I don’t pretend to be something I’m not,
I want you in my life it’s the only one we got.
I might not pray to God or go to church,
But I am human & I still hurt,
My hurt is darkening our world,
The soul in me lies in a ball tightly curled.
I am lost in the cold & cruel abyss,
So inferior & small that I get missed,
Again I deeply apologise for being me,
You don’t need my love you deserve to be free.

Take it easy on yourself. I use to be the same way at times but the biggest part was my ex, also I had a medical condition that played a big part.
Hang in there girl and please don't take all the credit 'cause I'm sure this person more than likely is doing something to provoke u.

| this is an amazing write dear. I agree not to be hard on yourself, but you know me and I feel this exact way quite often. This poem calls out to a side of me I try to hide from people. just wow.... A+++++ I love it! |

O, how very sad, but what a beautiful description of suffering... You know how you could be, but somehow you're still stuck in that being, of whom you so strongly feel that it isn't the real you.... Very recognizable.

Very discriptive and harsh, you should not be so hard on yourself, love is stronger than that and binds all within the web it weaves.
There many in simular situations, that would relate to what you are going through, I for one know about pain and looking for solace in pills, but at least you have someone who loves you and is willing to stand by you through thick and thin.......that is to be treasure above all else.

Litterally being a small person as well as feeling that way, I really do relate to this one. I could say this to a number of my loved ones. All of it.
