I'm thankful for my children,
whom I cherish everyday,
I'm thankful for my husband,
and the love he gives away,
I'm thankful for my father,
and the friendship that we share,
I'm thankful for my friends,
who taught me how to care,
I'm thankful for my mother,
who gave birth to me,
I'm thankful for her teachings,
that taught me how to be,
I'm thankful for the Lord,
who helped me believe,
I'm thankful for being a mom,
and that I was able to conceive,
I'm thankful for every one that I love,
and that my moms in heaven above,
I'm thankful that her pain is gone
for she suffered so long,
On this Thanksgiving Day, I'm thankful for so many things,
But mostly,I'm thankful for,My mom getting her wings!

| This is an amazing read. I love that it's a tribute to your mother. Writing brings out so much that we want to say but can't put into spoken words. I loved this poem. |
