Leave me here, with him
I feel his arms pick me up, and sweep me away
This familiar journey, I have not walked in so long
His skin, so soft…suffocating…
Lay me in his arms, tonight
The stars envelop me, bind me, blind me
His body so reassuring
It makes me want to die
This is the blackest day of my life
The stifling heat fills my senses, leaves me weak
He kisses me, breathes some sort of electricity
A life support machine, he kick starts my false heartbeat
I have walked this way thousands of times before
The ground worn smooth
He lets me run, just not quite far enough
Playfully pulls me back, bleeding
I remember him, now
The feel of these chains I will never forget
The sea crashes in, promises freedom
Tears fall, my soul, slowly washed away
Oh, and, I will never forget
Wind stirs my feelings, leaves me breathless
My heart crumbles, his voice, so gentle
Blood falls, my life, slowly weeps away

this was beautiful I loved the sad sense of
desperation in this poem. It was just as great
the first time I read it as it was now. You have
a natural talent that I wish i possessed.

Oh Lucie..
I still feel like I haven't read this enough yet to comment.
It's so overwhelming, and yet so perfect.
"Blood falls, my life, slowly weeps away"...
I love it. Love it.
