A Wind in Summer

Windy days
When the trees dance
Their leaves shake and rattle
Like lover's trembling bodies
Through the twisted grass
Purple daisies in my hair
When the sky is most blue
And the moon is still out
I feel the emotion of the dirt
And taste the summer
Like sugared pansies
That melt on my tongue
And imagine what the clouds must feel
A drift in the infinite unknown
Sailing the sky sea.

I have to agree that your style of writing is wondrous and impressive. It would make a lovely painting. Words are paintings---except the colors or more vibrant in our minds.
I couldn't pass this one up bec. of the title. I am a HUGE Sinatra fan and I could hear the song "Summer Wind" playing in my mind.
This poem is extraordinary!
