I saw you fall from heaven
in a brilliant blaze
straight into my life
straight into my heart
with your wings of platinum
and your voice of heavens choir
you changed my life forever
for forever i would love you
our lives intermingled like the vines of roses
we loved each other like there was no tomorrow
but when the time came for you to go back to heaven
my heart could bear no more sadness
I thought of taking my own life
to be with you once more
but then I felt you with me
and my heart was relieved of its burden
its been that way for 60 years now
and now its my time to go
I can hear you calling me
my fallen angel

=] lovely, powerful, emotional write. i posted a poem with a similar title to this a long time ago and i always like to see how people write about "the same things i do based on titles" i liked this piece. it makes you go through a whole range of emotions, and you have a nice style to top it all off. |

Emotions tenderly expressed, somehow I can relate to this with my mother. Nicely done.
