Isolation Ward

Contributed by alovinmann on Monday, 20th September 2004 @ 08:56:21 AM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Oh no it's you again calling on the phone
You must have had a bad blind date
Or nobody else is home
Modern marvels are so compleat
Leave me a voice mail
Loving you is a leaky ship
You always have to bale

Now I'm in isolation
made up my very own ward
You are so predictable
Frankly, you keep me bored.

I use to love to hear your voice
Ring me any old time
Now i'm being nice to me
Alone is feeling fine.

Now I'm in isolation
Made up my very own ward
You are so predictable
Frankly, you keep me bored

You'de make dates and break them
If anybody else was around
When nobody's there you need me
Then you put me down
I think this makes you feel good
But I need solid ground
So I am isolating
And don't want to be found
