Who's got my back now?

World's been overcome by weakness.
All that was held up high
and never expected to die.
Was found to be one big lie.
Life will soon be over.
Why must I always shout to the sky.
My love has drained to darkness.
The fear is going to rise.
I've said all I have to say.
Why act like this is a surprise.
Happiness is a memory now.
No reason to ever again ask "why?"
Feelings were stolen by anger
obvious was over looked
and even i knew how.
you say it is all what i have been endowed.
But Who's got my back now?
living without feeling
shadows hide even the ceiling.
My face always showed.
All the answers shone through just my eyes.
But forget it now.
Cause now even i know what it is like to die.
Love me never.
It was supposed to last forever.
Where's the point in asking why?
I forgot the thoughts and the feather falling from the sky.
Blinded by wanting to say bye. bye...
Take the deep breath and let out the sigh.
Cause even i know what its like to die.
Still lingers one question.
Given in your breath just a slight suggestion.
Cause never again you'll experience that expression.
answer and give me little salvation
Close your eyes and remember my face and
I'll ask with little distinction
Hopefully forget the simple question.
I need to go...
I need you to show
I asked oh so slow.
Who's got my back now?
Never will i ever know.
