My story begins by the Red Hills that overlook the river of Saint George.
I was humbly born in the valley of those hills,
and the Jem Forest that rested behind our cottage.
High overlooking those woods were the Marthinian Mountains,
an ominous and forbidding boundary into that realm.
My name is Necro, I am a fusion, a half-breed.
My father was Human, and my mother was a Greenling, a forest child.
My father was a master blacksmith, and a former member of The White Hammer Clan.
This clan was a group of twelve Death Knights, otherwise known as Dark Paladins.
Besides the Paladins were two Healers and one Dark Mage.
I know you are thinking things, like the occult or they were malicious;
in fact you would be wrong, these men upheld the Law, by any and all means.
If you needed an assasin, these were the men you talked to.
Or maybe a merc squad, these guys would do just swell.
My mother on the other hand disapproved of violence,
Leading to my fathers early retirement from the squad.
She was a kind woman, always happy, always kind.
My mothers brother, Bean, would visit me all the time.
He would always bring over some mash
and we would drink until the roselight faded away into dawn.
Mother disapproved, but just said, "Bean, if you come in drunk tonight
you will be leaving with more than a headache"!!!
How I miss her sweet smile.
For the most part I grew up those woods,
learning to hunt, track, and how to make medicine.
There was one very memorable story from those woods.
My uncle Bean decided it was time I met our naturalistic neighbors.
He wouldn't tell me where we were going, he just said to be quiet.
Deep into the forest we went, beyond the night, beyond anything.
I had never been this far and began to panic.
Bean made a swift turn around the creek and had disappeared!!!
This was not what I had planned for, trapped in the forest.
It got darker, if that was possible, and I was without any cardinal sense.
Suddenly from behind a grove of thickets and thorns sprang a Baffit.
Baffits are not human and not animal, they change in between the two.
Now it hit me, Uncle Bean was meeting with the local Baffit tribe in the forest.
He was probably bargaining for medicine or magiks, I didn't know which.
The Baffit that had "attacked" me was a young female named Pak.
We stayed with them for a few days and before we left I got my very own Nemith.
Nemiths are companions, loyal friends that take the shape you resemble inwardly.
What they choose is derived from many character traits and flaws.
I named my Nemith, Gideon, after my father.
As the years passed so did my childhood,
I spent less time playing and more time in my fathers' shop.
Pak and grew up together, becoming close freinds, and sometimes maybe more.
She was beautiful, she would slip into my room at night so we could talk
or take a walk..... i gotta go but this is what i have so far.
