I've never felt my heart flutter,
the way it did near you...
I never knew how beautiful words like: and, the, apple... were,
until I heard you say them.
I never knew how soft whispers could be,
until in my arms, they escaped your lips.
My eyes wouldn't see unless they saw you,
my mind swimming, as they drank you.
My name became a sweet lullabye by your voice,
my body water by your breath.
My heart rejoiced at your touch, your kiss,
my knees became weak, my lips would tremble.
My hands begged to become part of you.
I never knew the symptoms of love,
until I fell in love with you.
Never really knew the absence of love,
until I lost you.
