There is a candle in the darkness...
A beacon of hope... shining bright
Like a single diamond... lighting up the sky of night
Where there is no light found in your life....
None that you can see
Who is your beacon of hope in life?
Who is your beacon...?
The one who guides you... through the dark... lonely nights?
Who is your beacon...?
Your sturdy lighthouse... standing on the rock by the sea?
Where around its base... lap the waters of life... so free
But.. He is with you everywhere you may go...
Forever and always...
Oh... hear Him calling out your name
His compassion is everlasting...
His love is great
He is calling out for you... to accept Him into your life
He is your beacon of hope... on those dark... stormy nights
Find comfort and peace in His power of faith
And a promise in His love for you
His simple gift was the ultimate sacrifice paid
He died for you... for me... both sinners... you see
Upon that lonely tree
And was resurrected on the third day
To provide for us a way...
To enjoy the eternal flame... of life everlasting with Him
It will be the perfect end... of another day
