A light now blinds my eyes
For now I cannot see
My heart now heaves and sighs
'Tis you in front of me
A star's light is your gaze
It shines into my night
It makes my heart sing lays
Of love and ancient might
A tenderness and love
I'd see before me now
But distance is the case
I'll see you soon, somehow
