I will never forget the look on my mothers face
as we wait in that room for the news
the tears fell down and I cant stop the sound
of her crying
its running through my head
and I never knew why

what would life be
if you were here
what would life be
if you hadn’t disappeared
would I be so strong
would I be so weak
if you were here to help me

and I will never forget the look on my mothers face
in the kitchen when she told me the truth
she told me why ...
why you died
the tears fell down
and I cant stop the sound
of her crying
its running through my head
and now I know why
you were never meant to die
never meant to die
and I cant stand why
it breaks me down inside
cuz you were never meant to die
