You can't erase the stars

Contributed by the_story_of_the_year on Saturday, 18th September 2004 @ 02:19:27 AM in AEST

I know it''s tomorrow
But it''s already too late
We''re about as similar as black and white
Fate changes like night to day

The shadow cast by your lies
Is covering everything we made
Such a waste of time
You made this a darker day

Kiss me for the first time
Even though it may be the last
Tell the truth
Bury a lie
It''s such a sad story
Let''s burn this book with pride

Say it like you mean it
You can''t erase the stars
Time to bite this bitter bullet
And forget who you are

From the corner of your eye
You can see I''m still there
Turn the other direction
But you know I still care

You put so much work in to yourself
I can tell it shows
I''ll give you some credit
If you love me
I''ll give you more than you''re asking for
I want to love you
Just think of me once
Just show me...anything
I could go on forever..............
