Everest

Contributed by MomentInTime on Saturday, 18th September 2004 @ 01:25:50 AM in AEST
Topic: didactic

When will enough be ever enough
can you elucidate this point?
Is there an Everest to be climbed
to reach the top, and there to find
the need to do it once again
lest the first climb is in vain?
And if you are to climb your mountain
till you reach the very top
and there to feel so disappointed
for the fact you’ve had to stop,
looking at the sky above
another mountain you may see,
it may be best not try and climb it,
this one may be imaginary.

Great job!
Sorry, but I gotta keep climbing, guess I won't know if it's imaginary till I try, and if not disapointment...perhaps joy? or at best enlightenment?
Unless its at the expense of others.
Anyway, see? you got me on my soap box here....:)
Again nicely done.
