I Hate It

I hate it, the way I can't move on
Because even after years, my feelings have not gone.
And you make it worse, every time you smile at me
Like being stuck at a gate that you can't get in and you can't leave.
I wish I could move on, like the way that you do
But to be with some one else, would be denying the truth.
So everyday goes by, and I sit back and wonder
If we'll be together again, but the concept feels like a blunder.
Because how could you feel the same, when you're with the other guys
Unless you're just pretending, and you're straight full of lies.
But no, I have to accept it, that you're feelings are gone
But don't smile at me, I hate it, it makes it harder to carry on.

sweet poem, but you really should move on. I felt like this about someone for ages but I realised we'll never be together. Put on a song that eminds you of that person and tell yourself that by the end of the song ull have sed goodbye. Then spend the song thinking about the person and the good times you had and let it go. By the end of the song you should be over her. |
