Noises in the NIght

Noises in the night,
that just do not sound right,
seem to poke at me
to test my sanity.

Waiting for the moment,
I no longer have to hear,
all of these sounds
when the world will dissapear.

I look away from my window
for fear of what I'll see.
I pull my covers up over my head.
and begin to count to three

one -there is nobody, it's just a silly thought
two- get to sleep now and thank God for everything you've got
three- don't let your imagination control you all of the time, now go to bed, that's what I said because this is the end of the rhyme!

Nice poem! loved its suspense.
