Your words are costing you
my heart and my trust
You're spreading my love thin
Your gold image is beginning to rust
You're wasting my time
trying my patience
It'll be my fault again
for trusting you once more
I dismissed my suspicions
You made it so easy to fall for you
until I slipped and fell on your lies
Now you've made trusting you hard to do
My heart's stertched so thin
It gets harder every day
to keep letting you win
My love keeps fading away

It's always so said when love finally begins to fade, you start to feel guilty about it. You captured all of those feelings in your poem.
