Seasons are not right!
Trees have Alzheimer's disease.....
Forgot how to change!

"Glorious are the woods in their latest gold and crimson,
yet our full-leaved willows are in the freshest green.
Such a kindly autumn, so mercifully dealing with the
growths of summer, I never yet have seen."
~William Cullan Bryant~

Our trees are slow this year, too, but why complain? I will hold on to summer as long as I can and look forward to the splendor of fall before the darkness of winter descends upon me.

Love the haiku. I have the exact opposite problem here, the trees started turning last month. Not supposed to start til this month. Our summer was very mild, and I suspect winter is going to be a doozie! YAY! I love winter! Never said I was sane! ;o)

Very nice. Come south and see the gold of the aspens, the wood vines started two weeks ago, Winter's nap will be a long one this year.
Thanks for sharing. |
