Today my Granddaughter Ariana, said these words to me,
I LOVE YOU
More than all the stars in the sky or sand on all the beaches
She is not quite six years old , but a poet in the making
With all the things she says and does, of this there is no mistaking
She is not only intelligent , but beautiful as well
A natural born winner , of any game of show and tell
You cannot help but wonder , what she will say next
Something she has created ,or recently read from some text
It makes me so proud , and surely made my day
Having heard those loving words, that she was able to say

Oh for a grandaughter. She sounds so sweet and precocious. They are a delight.
I have four grandsons, one just born today. They are the greatest gift from my sons that I could possibly have been given. I think grandchildren are rewards for raising your own! My little four y/o grandson tells us he loves us as much as God loves him. Melts Gramma's heart everytime. LOL

I am awaiting the day to become a grandparent.
My daughter has not got the motherly feelings yet.
What a beautiful name she has and a treasure to love you so as you love her.
A lovely sweet poem
Love Sweetangelukxxx |
