The telephone rang
but no one was there
Their loss not mine
so I really don't care
If they had waited a moment
a conversation would have been had
Instead they hung up
and went away feeling sad
Such is life
I am sorry to say

Hey this just happened to me and it is so frustrating...expecially since I had to rush inside so fast tripping over the dog to get in before it finished ringing...and they [ahhhh!!!] hang up.!!..
