An eternity with you...

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Thursday, 16th September 2004 @ 09:15:59 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Wrapped in the delicious embrace of Obscurity,
My life lit only by a dying candle,
And as my pen mingles with the paper,
Words flow forth, morbid and passionate,
Expressions that you can only evoke…
Thoughts of Death cross my mind,
My beautiful, corrupted mind…
Thoughts of an eternity alongside you,
You, that is my Master, my sire, my infinite mate…
Show me your world,
Open my eyes to perceive this morbid realm,
This palace of malevolent grandeur…
Splendor beyond words,
A caress that weakens me,
Entices me, enchants me…
I am your willing puppet,
Do what you wish with me…
I cannot forget the first time I laid eyes on you…
Beneath the pallor blood of my Muse,
Her children were set in your ever-changing eyes…
Crimson red, to endless black…
Amethyst, to emerald green…
And finally, sweet hazel…
They were kind, beguiling eyes,
A wisdom that I still haven’t touched,
A knowing of this heedless world…
I saw your pain, your love, your insatiable desire for me,
For my life, for my blood…
Radiant skin, glowing under la Lune’s soft touch,
Hair that seemed to go on forever,
The Night woven in your ebony locks…
Lips that would put all roses to shame…
A quiet request; “Come to me…”
You beckoned me closer, I obeyed as blindly as a child,
One reckless step after another, until at last I stood before you,
Meek and worthless…
I stared at perfection,
An angel from Botticelli’s paintings come to life,
A gorgeous God, perplexing, morbid, yet an inner fire roared inside of you…
You gazed longingly into my amber eyes,
Perceiving everything; my life, my fears, my thoughts, my desires, my sins…
I was stripped bare, vulnerable for you to take anything you wished…
Apprehension consumed me,
I felt Death, He was close by…
His cold touch following the trail of my spine,
Making me shudder…
Down my cheek, towards my lips,
Death planted a kiss, bitter and relentless…
Lost in His arms,
Relishing this embrace,
This feeling of being loved, of being wanted…
I felt your breath on my neck,
Taking in my scent…
A deep sigh was all that you could muster…
You pulled away,
Merciless anguish in your honey-green eyes…
My voice was found, and I sighed,
Tears cascading down my flushed cheeks…
Your pain was my pain, your love was my love…
“You are so perfect, and I so wretched…”
Such blasphemy!
I was the wretched one,
You, more beautiful than any angel, were the splendiferous one…
Your voice, a sweet, decaying song to my heart…
Harmonious to my ears…
If I could, I would stop time and be in this moment forever…
Your darkness caresses me,
Like a shroud of velvet …
Deep, aching and patient longing,
Possesses my every breath…
I await your call, my love,
Transport me on wings of fiery silk,
To my final dwelling -
In your icy embrace alone,
Can I find solace…
Suck my life away,
Drain my blood and taste my soul;
“Forever and ever,” I whisper,
Through tears tainted with crimson,
The color that I love so dearly…
Unity and union, sublime and eternal;
Love and death in dangerous coupling,
As I die willingly for you…
My vampire soul, my Sire, my light,
Whose passion guides me,
Through the endless Night,
Reach out to me and call my name:
“Blood Flower,” you sigh – your voice,
A satin caress that chills my bones,
With fear and delight…
The dark night is alive for us –
Drenched in starbursts,
That sear our flesh as we make love,
Beneath the gibbous moon…
Oh, Dark Angel, my true sublime,
No words are there for love so pure;
Mere mortal bands of gold,
Shall never taint our flesh,
But we have a stronger bond by far –
For we are locked in perfect coitus,
For all of time, beyond all death…
Thee and me, and thus it shall be,
My love, for all eternity…
And as you take my last drop,
I realized you are Death…
My ever-awaited death,
My sweet end, and my new beginning…
Children of the Night, perpetual lovers,
You as my teacher, my Sire, my Master,
And I your fervent pupil, your eternal lover, your keen slave…
Forever and always, so mote it be…

A symphonic Melodie of words and rythm that evoke longing, desire, and lusful abandon. I crave more ... it is all too soon ended. Deliciously dark without morbidity. A truly engaging write that demands attention, and holds the reader the whole way through.
I shall return to sink my teeth into this one time and time again !!
