When Night's Darkness Falls.

A shadow lingers over us all,
We know not when, the darkness will fall.
We know not whether to flee or fight,
With the enemy, in the dark night.
Soon then comes the light of day,
Out of the clouds, to light our way.
Back to the shadows the enemy crawls,
Until again, night’s darkness falls.
Again they meet, the hero and villain,
One with a friend, one with a minion.
Now’s not the time for physical action,
Many threats made, but not one transaction.
Daylight soon scares the villain away,
When sun sets, the hero will pay.
Both return with their own gangs,
Their girlfriends cry, when they hear bangs.
