She ask me what's a soul mate
I've pondered along those lines
Is it two on the same wave length
No matter what the time
My mind knows the answer
But it's captured in my heart
Trying to place that into words
Such a hard place to start
Look into the breaking waves on the roughest sea
When the surf calms down the foam that's where you will find me
Look up towards the darkest sky on the coldest night
When you spot the strongest star it's your soul mate's guiding light
When you feel so all alone and need your hugging pillow
I am the one that forms your smile as you cry with the weeping willows
I am not so sure I answered
The question she brought me
I'll try a little harder
To pry the answer free
If i still can't explain this
Please try and understand
I really do know what this is
Explaining was not the plan
Look into the breaking waves on the roughest sea
When the suf calms down the foam that's where you will find me
Look up towards the darkest sky on the coldest night
When you spot the strongest star it's your soul mate's guiding light
If you're feeling all alone and need your hugging pillow
I am the one that forms your smile as you cry with the weeping willows

not easy to state the change one makes, if i am alive now, years before i was dead, and it has stayed with me, you have stayed with me in darkest hours of life, whether here or not, ...very true about the sea and stars, so cosmic, ~a beautiful answer to the ultimate question, so... are soulmates like love? an affinity addressed in a certain direction? you may never have a break from writing now lol, hugs n' loves ya, nessa x

I was told by a mutual friend ;o) that I should read your work. Softly romantic...thoughtful....simply said, and simply beautiful my friend.
Very well done
Barkeep!
