the dew drops,
drip drop,
of every petal of a buttercup
lays a tiny tear
a crystal glistening in the early sun shine
soft cheeks rub against
chins shining with petals bright yellow
stroking gently
hands held laying down
creasing the grass slightly
lovers paradise
and the dew drops shine
and the buttercups dance in the wind
