A true friend is someone...
Who loves another unconditionally...
And overlooks the faults...
Those things... both... big and small
A true friend...
Will be always there by the side...
Just to talk...
Ready with a touch for the soul...
A hug... a kiss... a smile
Or be silent and just listen to the heart
A true friend... is what I strive to be
But sometimes... I fall short... you see
It's just human nature... to be this way
We just... patch up our differences and go on...
With our day...
'Cause to have a friend is to be a friend
To someone who is in need...
A friend to me...
Is just a stranger I've never met...
A true friend... indeed

I loved the whole feel and good vibrations this poem gave me.
I value friendship so very much. I am not perfect either and I think close friends (who also value the friendship) are prepared for the ups and downs.
I have alot of aquaintances but only a few select close friends. Those are the people I share my life with unconditionally. It is amazing how much back they give to me.
The more I give the more love I recieve and it just comes in repetition.
I really liked what this poem said and I enjoyed it to the end.
