The Rain Is Still Falling Down...

Contributed by kidpoet_213 on Thursday, 16th September 2004 @ 12:16:02 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

The rain is falling down...
Falling down upon your life
And you don't know what to do
With these empty teardrops you've cried

The rain is falling down...
Pouring from your heart
You're going through a tough time
And a desparate life... just trying to survive... not fall apart

So you cry... cry... and cry and cry
Until you can't cry anymore
Because there are no more tears left...
There all upon the floor

But... the rain is still falling down
Falling down upon your life
It has left an empty trail of bloody scars behind
That has been leading you to the knife

The rain is still falling down...
Pouring from your heart
Flooding your soul..
With these desparate and overwhelming thoughts

You feel.. you have no where to turn... no where to run... no where to hide
Your friends have left... they've all turned their backs and said goodbye
But then... you run... straight to me... a friend who is comforting
One who will never leave your side

With the rain still falling down...
Falling down upon your life
You know... you've found a friend... someone who will be there in the end
And never cheat... steal or lie

With the rain still falling down...
Pouring from your heart
The feeling of desparation fades away... your night is turned to day...
While listening to your friend's soothing voice

You find yourself not thinking... of anything or anyone
The thoughts that had you torn...
Between the struggle of life and death
No longer are deemed important or exist

But the rain is still falling down...
Falling down upon your life
Will it ever end?
Will you ever feel good about your life again?

The rain is still falling down...
Pouring from your heart
Making your life a complete and total mess
One you try and mop it up... as best... you can

It's like a never ending vicious cycle...
A living Hell...

The rain... is still... falling down...
