November

Topic: Suicide

NOVEMBER

I'll walk slowly into November
Until I can't remember
All the sorrow
That happened the day before tomorrow.
September has been
A month of pain, depression and sin
He left all of us alone,
And When I think of it I shiver down to my bone.
He's gone forever
But maybe by November
We'll all have done our grieving
And then he will be recieving
All our prayers that he is in
A better place, free of pain, depression and sin.

However, I can't help but wonder, if it's all the same,
Are our prayers are all in vain?
Could he be some place
Worse than this world without his face?
Some place worse than the aching,
Some place with nothing?
But my prayers are answered by
Relief of his ghost, haunting my mind with lies
And some how this answers my prayers.
Somehow I know
That we'll make it through.
Somehow I know by November
But I still remember.
