I would run my fingers thru your hair
and remember the time of a young lover's stare
If you were here
I could never let you go
I did that once and it hurt my life so
If you were here
we could dance in the night
let love fill the room our hearts reunite
If I was there
would you love me again
or have you found the arms of another man
If I was there
would it be quite the same
as I open my lips as i call your name
If I was there
If you were here
we could be as one with nothing to fear
